Where are we ?
Sitting in the foothills of the breathtaking Dandenong Ranges, East of Melbourne, Victoria. Upwey is just a 45 minute train journey from flinders street station.
Just five minutes away from the 1000 steps and Buffing Billy. The area is also well known for its stunning national Park
A busy Township Founded in 1897 which eventually took the name of an English village ‘Upwey on the river wey’
“Mount Dandenong was originally known as Corhanwarrabul (the present-day site of Burke's Lookout is also known as Mount Corhanwarrabul) and was the summer hunting place for the Bunurong people from Western Port and the Woiworung people from the Kulin nation.
Botanist Daniel Bunce's 1840s foray into the Dandenong Ranges marked the first recorded European expedition. Wholesale clearing began in the 1850s when the settlers moved in, before the state forest was established in 1867.”

Who are we?
Hailing from the south coast of England, I (Eloise) moved to Australia over 20 years ago, I have found myself living in such a beautiful place, and could not live anywhere else!
With a degree in the Arts, and a Masters in Theraputic Arts on the way (Hopefully!) I have a wide range of skills to share.
My focus is to create a no pressure environment where people can relax and really enjoy creating with mindfulness, and realise that everyone has the ability to create something special .

Want to know whats happening next? We will be having guest teachers pulled from our amazingly creative community as well as seasonal activities

We respect and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past, present, and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions, and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on this land and commit to building a brighter future together.
